The aim of designer vagina is to improve the appearance of vulva. This can be achieved by combining a number of procedures. Most common is labiaplasty, clitoral unhooding, hymen restoration, vaginoplasty.
Labiaplasty
In labiaplasty the size of labia minora lips is reduced. This surgery is the most commonly performed plastic surgery for female sexual organs.
Labiaplasty procedure technique
Labiaplasty takes about 1 hour and can be performed under local anesthesia, but patients may also opt for general anesthesia. Labiaplasty can be done as an outpatient procedure and is relatively minor procedure. During labiaplasty procedure, the excessive tissue is removed by removing a wedge shaped section from middle and then the ends are stitched together from top and bottom. Advantage of this technique is that the normal labial edges are maintained.
There are other procedures that may be done at the same time. Some women can have other procedures with labiaplasty like hoodectomy, hymenoplasty, vaginoplasty etc. These procedures increase the youthful appearance of sexual organs and also can enhance the sexual pleasure.
Laser reduction labiaplasty is another option to do this procedure. During this procedure, the labia minora is trimmed using laser beams. The procedure takes less time but results in loss of the normal labia edges.
Hymenoplasty
Hymenoplasty or revirginity procedure refers to the cosmetic surgery that restores your hymen. The torn hymen is repaired by cosmetic suturing on both torn ends.
Type Of Repair Of Hymen
Hymen reconstruction
The procedure can be done under local anesthetic and as a day case surgery. The process takes one to two hours, and patients can return to work the next day. The sutures are dissolvable so you don’t need to get it removed. The stitches will fall off in around 3week and it will be completely healed in 3 to 4 week time. The torn pieces are sewn together with stitches giving a Simple repair.
Hymenoplasty for Natural Looking Hymen
In this surgery hymen is reconstructed. This surgery needs to be performed at least 3-4 weeks before marriage or even earlier the better. After complete healing after surgery, the hymen is restored to its state before first rupture.
This procedure is done under local anesthesia. The entire procedure will be completed in 35-40 minutes. You will be discharged the same day. You can walk normally even climb stairs. Avoid strenuous activity until the wound is completely healed.
The risks associated with hymenoplasty are minimal. When they occur, they are usually temporary. Good hygiene is important to decrease the risks of infection. Taking a shower everyday is highly recommended. Swelling and discomfort associated with the procedure will disappear in the few days following the surgery. You can take painkillers for any pain or discomfort.
Pubic fat liposuction
The procedure is similar to the liposuction done for other body parts.This procedure uses 2 concealed incisions which are very small. The tumescent solution is infiltrated in the marked area and then with the help of cannula attached to the negative pressure vacuum machine the excess fat is aspirated. The entire procedure will be completed in 20- 40 minutes.
The swelling will start receding after one month but to start seeing the result, it will be another 2-4 months. Since the incisions are small and concealed, there is hardly any scarring.
Pubic lift
Pubic lift procedure is recommended for patients who have droopy or saggy skin in the pelvic area. This can be caused due to extreme weight loss, childbirth or aging. The steps to correct this are
- The excess skin is removed.
- The skin around the pubic area is tightened.
- The incision is closed using extremely fine stitches
