Procedure and Technique of Facial Hair transplant

The technique used for beard transplant is FUE ( Follicular Unit Extraction). In this technique, hair follicles are harvested from the back side or posterior of scalp just like a traditional hair transplant. The new hair grafts are then re-implanted with a specially imported implanter. The entire procedure is done under local anesthesia. Because individual hair follicles are transplanted there is no scarring to worry about and results are of fuller beard.
This is done with utmost care because the doctor has to implant the hair mostly single or double hair graft in the natural direction, angle, and depth so that it normally grows and also take care of aesthetics, such as grey hair, in a natural way. The transplanted hair falls out after a month and new hair starts to grow in around three months time, taking around a year to fully grow in. The transplanted hair result in hair which typically grows just like facial hair with similar texture and characteristics. They can even be shaved or groomed just like a normal beard.
